Originally set to have its World Premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, Screen Daily reports Magnet Releasing has acquired worldwide rights to writer/director Brea Grant‘s (After Midnight) latest horror, 12 Hour Shift, ahead of the Cannes virtual market.
The horror-comedy follows a group of nurses who steal organs and sell them on the black market.
"Nurse Mandy is just trying to make it through her double shift alive, but her nasty drug addiction, annoying coworkers, needy patients, and devious cousin are making it pretty tough, not to mention organ-stealing criminals and an injured convict."
12 Hour Shift stars Angela Bettis (May, The Woman, Carrie), David Arquette (Scream) and former wrestling superstar Mick Foley alongside Chloe Farnworth, Kit Williamson, Tara Perry and Nikea Gamby-Turner.
David Arquette also produced the film with Christina Arquette, Jordan Wayne Long, Tara Perry, and Matt Glass.
