Motion Trailer Released for New 'Dracula' Graphic Novel Featuring Bela Lugosi's Likeness

Announced back in 2019, we're just a week away from the release of Legendary Comics' brand new Bram Stoker’s Dracula graphic novel, and we've been provided with a motion trailer that offers up a look inside the new adaptation.

The graphic novel will be released on November 3rd. Pre-order your copy today!

Created in collaboration with the Lugosi Estate, art director/co-editor Kerry Gammill and artist El Garing, the graphic novel faithfully adapts Bram Stoker's Dracula and features the likeness of Bela Lugosi.

"Bram Stoker. Bela Lugosi. Two names forever bound by Dracula. And for the first time ever, Bram Stoker’s gothic masterpiece is being united with the definitive screen Dracula, Bela Lugosi, in Legendary Comics' all new graphic novel!"

"In the late 19th Century, Dracula, an ancient Transylvanian vampire, moves to England to find fresh blood and spread his evil contagion. There, he encounters two women, Lucy and Mina, who become the targets of his dark obsession. Aided by a group of brave men, Professor Van Helsing arrives on the scene to take on the Vampire Prince in the ultimate battle between the forces of light and dark!"

"Bela Lugosi created his unique portrayal of Count Dracula on the Broadway stage and has become a cultural icon for his performance in the 1931 film," said Lynne Lugosi Sparks. "This graphic novel beautifully answers the question: What would Lugosi’s performance look like in a direct interpretation of Bram Stoker’s novel? We believe Legendary Comics has proven what fans already know—Bela Lugosi is Dracula."

The Dracula graphic novel's creative team also includes Robert Napton and Richard Starkings.
