A year ago, Netflix ended "Geeked Week" 2021 with news of a new Castlevania animated series centered on Richter Belmont during the French Revolution. Today, they've ended this year's event with the release of a video that offers a sneak peek at the iconic hero in action.
The new series, titled "Castlevania: Nocturne," is officially in production. However, a release date has yet to be announced.
As mentioned above, this animated series ditches Trevor and follows Richter, a descendant of the Belmont family, popularized in the iconic Symphony of Night and Blood of Rondo games in the Castlevania franchise.
The series is being led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley and produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation.
