Following the arrival new images of Henry Cavill's Geralt of Rivia and Freya Allan's Ciri from the now in production second season of Netflix's "The Witcher," we've gotten our hands on a fresh look at Anya Chalotra's return as Yennefer of Vengerberg.
The photos show Yennefer in chains after the Battle of Sodden from the first season's finale.
Expect to see more within the coming weeks.
Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, Netflix's "The Witcher" follows Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.
In the second season, "Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside."
"The Witcher" Season 2 does not have a release date yet, but it is expected to premiere some time in 2021.
