I think I speak on behalf of all of us when I suggest that I would love nothing more than to be with friends and loved ones this holiday season. Let’s face facts, with the lingering effects of Pandemia setting in, it’s getting harder to carry on day to day, and while my wallet and/or credit card may not like it, a little impulsive online shopping has been one of a handful of things I can do to have something to look forward to.
Those first few sentences went to a dark place, but there is a light at the end of this tunnel, and it involves a new project here on CryptTeaze: Family Fun Night! With the power of video conferencing, a handful of the site staff will be getting together and riffing on a film of our choosing, with results ranging from mildly insightful to wildly funny. As a pilot episode should be, we start in fast and loud, and joining us to accomplish this is the one and only Steve Barton, known across the globe as Uncle Creepy!
The creator of Dread Central and general of the Hatchet Army (as deemed by Adam Green himself) join Chase Will, Robyn Luddite, Sean Wheeler, Monte Adams, and yours truly, Lucas Liner, for a discussion on the holiday classic Gremlins, in light of the season and of the announcement of a third film. Check out the full podcast episode on our YouTube channel below, and stay tuned for more Family Fun Night shenanigans coming very soon!
