The original Creepshow was a meeting of horror’s finest minds of the time, Stephen King and George A. Romero. An homage to the EC Comics from decades before, the anthology film saw an ensemble cast including Hal Holbrook, Leslie Nielsen, E. G. Marshall, Adrienne Barbeau, and even King himself. While many anthologies since, such as V/H/S and The ABCs of Death have tried to capture the magic that Creepshow did, this film very clearly walked so those and more could run.
For this episode of the show, we have producer/director PJ Starks, known for his work on films such as Volumes of Blood and the holiday anthology 13 Slays Till X-Mas. In addition to the film itself, we discuss dealing with spider infestations, as well as avoiding the almighty wrath of The Zuck, as social media is every bit a curse as much as it is a blessing.
At the end of the episode, there’s a sneak peek at Starks’ 13 Slays Till X-Mas, which he produced. Starks also directed the segment “Digging Up the Ghost”.
