Following its North American premiere at last year's Fantasia Film Fest, Bruce McDonald's (Pontypool, Roadkill) horror/crime thriller Dreamland will be released this coming June.
The film takes place on the night of the strangest weddings in cinema history, where a grotesque gang boss hires a stone cold killer to bring him the finger of a fading, drug-addicted jazz legend.
McDonald directed from a script co-written by Tony Burgess (The Hoard, Saturn’s Rings).
Dreamland stars Stephen McHattie (Watchmen, Pontypool), musician/actor Henry Rollins (Wrong Turn 2, Feast, Lost Highway), Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers, From Dusk Till Dawn) and Tomis Lemarquis (Blade Runner 2049, Snowpiercer).
Uncork’d Entertainment and Dark Star Pictures will release Dreamland on VOD and Digital HD on June 5th, 2020.
