Earlier this year, Goosebumps creator R.L. Stine teamed up with the pop-culture phenomenon Garbage Pail Kids for a first-ever GPK illustrated book series, with the first entry coming this September, titled Welcome to Smellville.
Stine write three middle-grade books books based on the iconic cards from The Topps Company through a deal with publisher Abrams' Children's Books.

Welcome to Smellville will release on September 29th. The book's cover art comes from Garbage Pail Kids artist Joe Simko, while former GPK artist and editor Jeff Zapata illustrated the inside. The hardcover book will include four exclusive Garbage Pail Kids stickers.
