IFC Midnight will be bringing the Sundance hit Relic to drive-in theaters as an advance week-run beginning July 3rd, followed by a traditional theatrical and Digital/VOD release on July 10th.
But before all of that, we have a brand new clip to share with you, wherein something is discovered to be lurking behind moldy walls.
Relic tells the story of Edna (Robyn Nevin), an elderly and widowed matriarch who goes missing, and her daughter Kay (Emily Mortimer) and granddaughter Sam (Bella Heathcote) who must travel to their remote family home to find her. Soon after her return, they start to discover a sinister presence haunting the house and taking control of Edna.
The feature debut of Japanese-Australian director Natalie Erika James, Relic is produced by Anna McLeish, Sarah Shaw of Carver Films, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Riva Marker of Nine Stories and Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Todd Makurath and Mike Larocca of AGBO executive producing.
