Following its streaming premiere on Shudder earlier this year, RLJE Films will release the acclaimed cosmic horror hit The Beach House on VOD, Digital HD, DVD and Blu-ray beginning December 15th, 2020.
The Beach House is the directorial feature debut of Jeffrey A. Brown, who also wrote the screenplay.
In the film, "Hoping to reignite their relationship, college students Emily (Liana Liberato) and Randall (Noah Le Gros) arrive at their weekend getaway only to discover a peculiar older couple already staying there. They all agree to share the home but, after an indulgent night of partying, they’re awoken to a living nightmare of apocalyptic proportions. A mysterious airborne microbe has infected the water and it’s making its way to the house..."
Maryann Nagel and Jake Weber (Dawn of the Dead, "13 Reasons Why") also star.
"The Beach House is a striking and timely eco-horror that offers up an alluring mix of claustrophobic isolation, mysterious contagion, and dreamy seaside setting with a show-stealing lead performance from Liana Liberato," Shudder previously wrote.
