Rob Zombie Reveals New 'The Munsters' Trailer Will Premiere This Wednesday!

After recently wrapping up filming in Hungary on his hotly-anticipated take on The Munsters, Rob Zombie is back in the states and rehearsing with his band for the upcoming Freaks on Parade Tour. But before the tour kicks off later this month, Zombie has revealed a new trailer will arrive this Wednesday, July 13th!

Zombie posted the announcement to his Instagram page, along with a fresh look at Sheri Moon Zombie and Jeff Daniel Phillips as Lily and Herman Munster. We suspect the new trailer will officially announce the film's fall release date, but we'll just have to wait and see.

In case you missed it, you can check out the first teaser for The Munsters here.

The Munsters remaining cast includes Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa, Richard Brake as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfang, Sylvester McCoy as Igor, Catherine Schell as Zoya Krupp, Jorge Garcia as Floop, Cassandra "Elvira" Peterson as Barbara Carr, Dee Wallace as the Voice of Good Morning Transylvania, Jeremy Wheeler as Mr Gateman, and Tomas Boykin as Lily's brother Lester.

Original "The Munsters" television series actors Butch Patrick and Pat Priest will also star, and deep cut characters Uncle Gilbert and Zombo will make an appearance.

Plot details for The Munsters movie are currently unknown, though the original series depicted the home life and misadventures of a family of benign monsters living in an American suburb, who never quite understand why people react to them so strangely. It was previously reported that the film has been rated PG by the MPA, a first for Zombie, as every other film he has directed has been rated R.

The Munsters is produced by Jonathan Halperyn and Daniel Kresmery, and will be released by Universal 1440 Entertainment, a production arm of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group.
