'Saint Maud' Finally Gets A US Release Date of February 12th, 2021 via EPIX

It’s been a while since a movie’s truly put the fear of God into me. From what I’m hearing, however, A24’s Saint Maud will do exactly that.

After months of seeing previews and waiting on pins and needles for a proper U.S. release date, Rose Glass’s directorial debut Saint Maud will finally be available exclusively through EPIX on Friday, February 12th.

Saint Maud follows a young woman who’s obsessed with saving the dying soul of a patient at the hospice where she works as a nurse. However, her own personal demons aren’t the only threats to her self-appointed holy duty…and salvation might not be in the cards for her or her patient.

Morfydd Clark (2019’s Crawl) stars as the title character. She is joined by actors Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty), Lilly Frazer (The Gentlemen), Lily Knight (The Purge: Anarchy), as well as Marcus Hutton, Turlough Convery, and Rosie Sansom.

The film was originally supposed to be released in April 2020. However, like so many other films, Saint Maud was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Saint Maud is currently Certified Fresh on RottenTomatoes.com, and it’s received praise from critics and audiences alike.
