Seth Rogen Producing New Horror Movie 'Video Nasty' for Lionsgate

While most of us here at CryptTeaze love the man, it's not that often we get to write about Seth Rogen, given the fact he's never really involved in horror-centric projects. Well, that changes today, as Variety reports Lionsgate has acquired a script for a very intriguing new horror film titled Video Nasty, which is being produced by Rogen!

The film, written by Chris Thomas Devlin, "centers on three teens who rent a cursed VHS and are pulled into an '80s slasher movie that threatens to trap them forever."

Devlin's name may ring a bell with horror fans, as he also wrote the upcoming Texas Chainsaw Massacre reboot.

Variety adds that Jonathan Levine (50/50, Snatched) may end up directing and producing along with his producing partner Gillian Bohrer.

Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Josh Fagen and James Weaver will produce for Point Grey, along with Stampede Ventures' Greg Silverman and Jonathan Berg.
