Filmed in 1990, Demonia was expected to be Italian maestro Lucio Fulci's return to theatrical films, but it ironically failed to receive any theatrical distribution anywhere and was instead dumped straight to video in Italy.
The film didn't even get an official release here in the states until 2001, but it's now secured another one, as Severin Films has revealed they'll be bringing it to Blu-ray as a part of this week's Mid-Year Sale!
A Demonia T-shirt from Pallbearer Press will also be available during the sale.
In the ghost story/nunsploitation mashup, a Canadian archaeological team in Sicily accidentally unleashes vengeful ghosts of five demonic nuns who were murdered 500 years earlier, and the ghosts now set out to kill the group and townspeople alike.
