Following its premiere on Shudder, supernatural horror musical The Strings has been released on most major Digital platforms.
The film is now available to rent and purchase on Apple TV/iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, GooglePlay, VUDU, and more.
"In the dead of winter, a musician travels to a remote cottage to work on new material, but soon finds herself under attack from a mysterious dark presence."
The full synopsis reads, "musician Catherine travels to her aunt’s remote cottage on the shores of Prince Edward Island to work on new material in solitude. After visiting an abandoned farmhouse with local photographer Grace, strange and disturbing occurrences begin to manifest at the cottage, escalating each night and eroding Catherine’s sense of reality.
Directed by Ryan Glover and co-written by Glover and Krista Dzialoszynski, The Strings stars alt-pop musician Teagan Johnston, who also wrote and performed the film’s original songs, Jenna Schaefer, and April Aliermo.
The film was produced by Glover, Dzialoszynski, and Robert Menzies (I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives In The House, The Blackcoat’s Daughter), and had its world premiere at Salem Horror Fest in October 2020.
