The first six (of twelve) episodes of Netflix's "Unsolved Mysteries" hit the streaming service early last month, and we've learned that the remaining episodes will arrive later this fall.
Volume 2 will feature six more episodes, which will premiere on October 19th, 2020.
"In six new episodes, Unsolved Mysteries profiles more unexplained disappearances, tragic events, and bizarre occurrences. Perhaps one viewer holds the key to solving these cases. Detectives, journalists, and family members offer intriguing theories in this gripping series, from the creators of the original docuseries, Cosgrove/Meurer Productions, and 21 Laps Entertainment, the producers of Stranger Things."
"This modern take on the classic series will maintain the chilling feeling viewers loved about the original, while also telling the stories through the lens of a premium Netflix documentary series. Each episode will focus on one mystery and once again will look to viewers to help aid investigators in closing the book on long outstanding cases," Netflix said in a press release back when the series was announced.
Much like the original series, the reboot uses reenactments and interviews to retell the unexplained events.
Terry Dunn Meurer is showrunning this all-new version of the show she co-created with fellow executive producer John Cosgrove. Shawn Levy and Josh Barry are executive producing for 21 Laps.
