Swedish Body Horror Film 'Rave' Getting Blu-ray Mediabook Release from TetroVideo

TetroVideo has today revealed their home video titles for the month of July, and among them is Nils Alatalo's 2020 Swedish body horror film Rave (aka Svartklubb), which is being released in partnership with Goredrome Pictures.

Rave will be available in a "Ultralimited Numbered Mediabook" edition that includes Blu-ray and DVD copies of the film, a 20-page booklet, a variety of special features and a slipcover that's limited to pre-order customers.

Special Features include:

  • Making Of

  • Director's Commentary Audio

  • Rave Teaser

  • Rave original Trailer

  • Call From The Rave (Music of SvartKlubb)

Starring Isabelle Grill (Midsommar), Rave is presented as "a mix between Lamberto Bava's Demons and Eli Roth's Cabin Fever."

In the film, "The local underground club is shutting down, but not before throwing one last party. Mimmi (Grill) drags her nervous friend Lina along for a night of alcohol, ecstasy and dancing. But as the night nears its end, more and more of the party goers become affected by a strange infection."

"As people start to deteriorate in the goriest ways, Mimmi tries to find her way out through the club’s neon-lit corridors and dark back rooms. However, surviving the night is only the beginning in this hallucinogenic descent into body horror hell."

Tuva Jagell (Girls Lost), Victor Iván, Sebastian Norén, Christer Wahlberg and Sophia Lücke also star.
