With COVID-19 continuing to decimate the entertainment industry and life as we know it, scream queen Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier, Return to Nuke 'Em High franchise) has taken to an alternate form of media with an Instagram Live series, to raise funds for those impacted by the pandemic.
The series, titled Literature with Catherine, features the actress reading bedtime stories- complete with comical commentary- while encouraging the viewership to "stay at home" and donate to select COVID-19 aide organizations. Viewers are also encouraged to support small businesses.
Friends of the actress, including former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho and Emmy Award-winning director Erik Bloomquist have logged on to show their support.
"I think love and laughter is the best medicine, right now," says Corcoran, "we can’t control these circumstances, but we are still present. We can still connect and we can still encourage each other."
Literature with Catherine airs 10pm thrice, weekly and can be viewed on Corcoran's Instagram page.
