After the immensely successful "The Haunting of Hill House" (based on the Shirley Jackson-penned novel of the same name), director Mike Flanagan has once again teamed with Netflix for "The Haunting of Bly Manor."

The second season of the horror anthology series will present a new take on Henry James’ psychological gothic horror novella The Turn of the Screw, and Netflix has kicked off the season's marketing campaign with a new poster and images, in addition to revealing a Fall 2020 premiere.

We currently don't know much about Netflix's "Bly Manor" in terms of plot, but Flanagan did tell Games Radar last October that the season will bring more of James' stories than just The Turn of the Screw to the screen.

"The Turn of the Screw is only one of a dozen stories that we’re telling," Flanagan explained.

"All Henry James; all thematically linked. I think of Turn of the Screw as the backbone of this season – the through line that carries us from beginning to end. But we get to go off into The Jolly Corner and The Romance of Certain Old Clothes, and so many other of these wonderful ghost stories that people haven’t seen adapted before."

"The Haunting of Bly Manor" will feature episodes directed by Yolanda Ramke & Ben Howling (Cargo), Ciarán Foy (Citadel, Sinister 2), Liam Gavin (A Dark Song) and Axelle Carolyn (Tales of Halloween).

"The Haunting of Hill House" stars Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel and Catherine Parker will return for the second season alongside T'Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Amelia EveBenjamin Ainsworth and Amelie Smith.
