Following up last week's announcement of Candy Corn on VHS, Broke Horror Fan and Witter Entertainment have revealed they'll also be bringing director Bobby Roe's found footage horror The Houses October Built to the immortal analog video format this Halloween season!

Presented on a fully-functional, officially licensed VHS, the limited edition release will be up for grabs next Friday, October 2nd at 12PM EST / 9AM PST via WitterEntertainment.com.

From producer Stephen Schneider (Paranormal Activity, Insidious), the 2014 found footage horror film arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with artwork by Kyle Crawford, courtesy of Fright-Rags. This run will be limited to 100 tapes.

Broke Horror Fan further details, "Each tape includes exclusive cast introductions and a letter from the filmmakers. Stay tuned after the movie for special features: Exploring The Houses October Built and Behind the Screams featurettes."

"For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It is officially licensed from RLJE Films and has been approved by director Bobby Roe."

In The Houses October Built, "Underneath the fake blood and cheap masks of countless haunted house attractions across the country, there are whispers of a truly terrifying alternative. Looking to find an authentic, blood-curdling good fright for Halloween, five friends set off on a road trip in an RV to track down this underground Haunt. Just when their search seems to reach a dead end, strange and disturbing things start happening, and it becomes clear that the Haunt has come to them…"
