After its theatrical run was unfortunately cut short due to the coronavirus, we've learned that Goodnight Mommy duo Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala's The Lodge will be making its way to home video sooner than expected.
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment will release the chilling horror film on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital on May 5th. It'll also begin streaming on Hulu the same day.
"The Lodge follows a family who retreat to their remote winter cabin over the holidays. When the father is forced to abruptly depart for work, he leaves his children, Aidan and Mia, in the care of his new girlfriend, Grace. Isolated and alone, a blizzard traps them inside the lodge as terrifying events summon specters from Grace’s dark past."
Fiala and Franz directed from a screenplay they co-wrote with Sergio Casci.
The film stars Riley Keough, Jaeden Martell, Lia McHugh, Alicia Silverstone, and Richard Armitage.
