“And so it went; the children lost their minds!”
Damn right, Taylor Momsen.
“And So It Went,” the latest music video from popular rock band The Pretty Reckless, sees Momsen in her rightful place on the throne, wearing a snappy pink power suit and standing as a figurehead for rebellion.
As children in animal masks stalk the streets, asserting their dominance over a society bent on control, Momsen sings, “The world does not belong to you. It belongs to me.”
Heed our battle cry, all you big wigs! And all hail Momsen, Queen of the underdogs!
The song also features Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine. This latest video heralds Death by Rock n’ Roll, the fourth studio album from The Pretty Reckless. The new album is available everywhere Friday, February 12th.
Momsen stated, via her album announcement on Twitter, “After years of putting our blood, sweat and tears into the recording I’m so excited for you all to hear it. The next era has begun.”
