'The Rental' Trailer Takes a Killer Vacation with Friends

The Rental Trailer Dave Franco

Secluded getaway. Killer views.

Screening tonight, for one night only, at the Vineland Drive-In movie theater in Los Angeles, IFC Films have released the trailer for the feature-length directorial debut from Dave Franco, The Rental.

In The Rental, two couples on an oceanside getaway grow suspicious that the host of their seemingly perfect rental house may be spying on them. Before long, what should have been a celebratory weekend trip turns into something far more sinister, as well-kept secrets are exposed and the four old friends come to see each other in a whole new light.

Alison Brie ("GLOW"), Dan Stevens (The Guest), Sheila Vand (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) and Jeremy Allen White ("Shameless") star in the unnerving and sophisticated debut thriller from Dave Franco (Neighbors, The Disaster Artist).

Franco co-wrote the script with Joe Swanberg (Drinking Buddies, Happy Christmas).

Following tonight's screening, The Rental is scheduled to come out in drive-in theaters and on VOD beginning July 24th, 2020.
