While I don’t care much about football, it sure was good to see horror fans getting some love during the Super Bowl LV commercials!
In a hilarious commercial for the all-electric Cadillac LYRIQ, Timothee Chalamet plays “Edgar,” a spot-on copy of Johnny Depp’s famed character, Edward Scissorhands.
Emulating the style of director Tim Burton, the commercial tells the story of Edgar’s struggles to fit into the neighborhood. He crafts artistic dishes at a restaurant, only to be told off by his manager, and he’s rejected by everyone else in his neighborhood…that is, until he gets his scissors on the brand new LYRIQ.
If there are more commercials that speak to my nostalgia, I may just care about sports ball in the future. Check out the commercial below!
