[Trailer] "A Creepshow Animated Special" Brings Two Tales of Terror to Shudder on October 29th

Halloween is almost upon us, and Shudder is celebrating in grand fashion next week with "A Creepshow Animated Special," which will portray the universe created by George A. Romero and Stephen King in a whole new way.

Premiering exclusively on Shudder on October 29th, the streaming service has today shared the trailer and gorgeous poster art for the special. Check it out below!

"A Creepshow Animated Special" will feature two new stories directed by "Creepshow" showrunner Greg Nicotero, with animation by Octopie animation studio.

In "Survivor Type," based on the short story by Stephen King and adapted by Greg Nicotero, stars Kiefer Sutherland as a man determined to stay alive alone on a deserted island no matter what the cost.

And in "Twittering from the Circus of the Dead," based on the short story by Joe Hill and adapted by Melanie Dale, stars Joe King (The Kissing Booth, The Act) as a teen whose family road trip includes a visit to the gravest show on earth.

"Although season 2, now in production, has been delayed due to Covid, Greg and his team were still able to pull off this fantastic special so everyone will be able to enjoy a little bit of Creepshow during Halloween season," Craig Engler, Shudder’s General Manager previously stated.

"A Creepshow Animated Special" will also be available on Shudder Canada, Shudder UK and Shudder ANZ.
