This May, writer/director Joey Klein (The Other Half) will examine the opioid epidemic's catastrophic effects in his new dramatic thriller, Castle in the Ground, and we've gotten our hands on the official trailer ahead of the film's release.
The film's all-star cast includes Hereditary's Alex Wolff and Green Room's Imogen Poots.
In the film, After the untimely death of his mother, a grieving teenager (Wolff) befriends his charismatic but troubled next-door neighbor (Poots) and becomes embroiled in a world of addiction and violence just as the opioid epidemic takes hold of their small town.
Castle in the Ground also stars Neve Campbell (Scream), Tom Cullen and Keir Gilchrist.
Gravitas Ventures will release the film on VOD platforms on May 15th, 2020.
