[Trailer] Creature Feature Takes a Life-Threatening 'Shortcut' to Theaters This Month

Not every road leads you home.

Gravitas Ventures has debuted the trailer for director Alessio Liguori's creature feature Shortcut, which is headed to indoor and drive-in theaters later this month.

The film will open nationwide across North America on September 25th. A VOD and Digital release will follow this Christmas season on December 22nd.

In the film, a group of five classmates become trapped inside their school bus after a mysterious creature invades the road. Time runs and every passing minute decreases their survival chances against the constant threats of the unknown entity.

"Gravitas is thrilled to be able to share Shortcut with audiences," said Gravitas Ventures' Brett Rogalsky. "This is a film that audiences are sure to be drawn to as it will not only be an exciting theatrical experience, but should also be an iconic entry into the horror genre for years to come."

Written by Daniele Cosci, Shortcut stars Andrei Claude, Jack Kane, Zak Sutcliffe, Sophie Jane Oliver and Terence Anderson.

Simona Ferri, Marco Tempera and Robert Cipullo produced.

If you're a fan of creature features, Shortcut looks like an absolute must-see film!
