Forces of Revenge Emerge in the Trailer for Dario Argento Produced Horror 'She Will'

IFC Midnight has released the official trailer and new poster artwork for the psychological horror She Will, director Charlotte Colbert's feature length debut. You'll find both below.

Executive produced by horror legend Dario Argento, She Will opens in select theaters and on demand on Friday, July 15th, with Shudder launching the title on October 14th, 2022.

IFC Midnight and Shudder acquired the film following its world premiere at last year’s Fantastic Fest.

The film stars Alice Krige (Sleepwalkers, Gretel & Hansel) and Kota Eberhardt (Dark Phoenix, The Persian Connection).

She Will is a gothic-tinged drama about a declining movie star, Veronica Ghent (Krige), who, after a difficult surgery, goes to a healing retreat in rural Scotland with her young nurse, Desi (Eberhardt). With her own identity in doubt, Veronica starts to confront past traumas endured on movie sets.

"The two women develop an unlikely bond as mysterious natural forces of the wilderness give Veronica the power to enact a revenge."

Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, Rob Zombie’s Halloween), Rupert Everett (Dark City, The Happy Prince), Jon McCrea (Cruella) and Amy Manson (The Nevers) also star.

"Charlotte Colbert has crafted an assured and mesmerizing debut feature with ‘She Will,’ a wickedly smart and socially relevant horror with exceptional performances from its outstanding cast," Shudder's Craig Engler said back when the acquisition was announced. "We can't wait to share its witchy wonders with Shudder members around the world."

Argento also praised the film as "an excursion into the world of witchery, madness, dreams, which together create an intoxicating atmosphere."

She Will won the Golden Leopard for "Best First Film" at Locarno Film Festival and screened at other notable festivals around the world including the London Film Festival, Sitges, and Thessaloniki.
