Based on the best selling thriller novel series with the same name by Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, Netflix has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming Egyptian horror series "Paranormal."
In the series, "Refaat Ismail, a cynical hematology professor with a dark sense of humor, has his world turned upside down and his lifelong scientific convictions questioned after he begins to experience paranormal activities. Along with his university colleague Maggie, they enter the paranormal world and try to save their loved ones from the immense danger that surrounds them."
Refaat’s journey of doubt will be presented in a series of six episodes, each centered around one of the famous urban legends in the “Paranormal” books. Every episode is a standalone story, but all are interconnected through one common, a recurring element in the first season: The Khadrawy House.
Created by Amr Salama, "Paranormal" stars Ahmed Amin, Razane Jammal, Ayah Samaha, and Samaa Ibrahem.
"Paranormal" premieres on Netflix on November 5th.
