[Trailer] Netflix's Korean Horror Series "Sweet Home" Unleashes a Monster Pandemic This Month

"When you open your eyes, all you see are monsters. Try to survive the end of a doomed world!"

Adapted from the Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan created webtoon of the same name, Netflix's upcoming Korean horror series "Sweet Home" is set to unleash all sorts of gruesomely unique monstrosities upon the streaming service this month, and the official trailer made its debut online over the weekend.

The first season of "Sweet Home" will premiere on December 18th, 2020.

In the series, "As humans turn into savage monsters and wreak terror, one troubled teen and his apartment neighbors fight to survive — and to hold on to their humanity."

The trailer is chock full of all kinds of insane-looking creatures and imagery, and while some of the subpar CGI may not appeal to some, "Sweet Home" should definitely be on your radar if you've enjoyed Netflix's recent international offerings.

Lee Eung-Bok ("Descendants of the Sun", "Mr. Sunshine") directed the series, which stars Song Kang, Lee Jin-uk and Lee Si-young.
