It was just last week that we learned Sang-ho Yeon's Train to Busan follow-up Peninsula was set to arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on November 24th, but we've been told today that it'll actually be coming home just in time for Halloween... Digitally, that is.
Well Go USA informs us that Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula will debut on Digital platforms first beginning October 27th.
"Four years after South Korea s total decimation in Train to Busan, the zombie thriller that captivated audiences worldwide, acclaimed director Yeon Sang-ho brings us Peninsula, the next nail-biting chapter in his post-apocalyptic world. Jung-seok, a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland, relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive. When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best or worst of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances."
The 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD versions will feature the film in Korean with English subtitles, as well as an all-new English dub. Special features include a "making-of" featurette, cast and crew interviews, and trailers.
Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula will also make its streaming debut on Shudder in 2021.
