Waxwork Records Has Repressed Goblin's 'Dawn of the Dead' Score on Vinyl

Dawn of the Dead Vinyl Repress Waxwork Records

Back in 2018, Waxwork Records released a deluxe edition of Goblin's score for George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead on two putrefying blue/green zombie skin color LPs. Of course, the highly anticipated vinyl offering quickly sold out, but fret not, just like the shambling undead hordes, it has been resurrected (repressed) from the grave.

The version is nearly identical to the aforementioned first edition, but instead has been press on two 180 Gram "Sunrise" Colored vinyls. The Dawn of the Dead soundtrack comes housed in deluxe packaging featuring stunning artwork by Butcher Billy. A 12”x12” art print of the cover art is also included.

Waxwork described the release back in 2018, "The original soundtrack for the film was composed and performed by long-time Dario Argento musical collaborators, Goblin. For Argento’s international cut of the film, the Italian director used the band extensively.  Waxwork Records is excited to finally bring the complete 1978 Goblin soundtrack to vinyl for the very first time spanning two 180 gram vinyl records."

Check out the release below and head on over to Waxwork Records to snag your copy for $40.
