"The Bride Lives!"
A must-own release for fans of Universal's Classic Monster movies, Waxwork Records have pressed famed composer Franz Waxman's original soundtrack for 1935's The Bride of Frankenstein on vinyl for the very first time, and in celebration of the film's 85th anniversary!
Sourced from the original 1935 acetates and masters provided by the Waxman estate and Universal Pictures, this historical release features 180 gram black and white swirled colored vinyl, and old style tip-on gatefold jackets with satin coating.
Also included is a 12"x12" booklet with liner notes by album producer and restoration engineer Mike Matessino and original scoring session photos, and new art by Phantom City Creative featuring likeness approvals from famed actress Elsa Lanchester’s estate.
The vinyl release is perfectly paired with Waxwork's newly-revealed Bride of Frankenstein Spinature (seen below).

The Bride of Frankenstein is a 1935 horror movie directed by James Whale and starring Boris Karloff and Elsa Lanchester. It is the first sequel to the 1931 film Frankenstein, and widely regarded as one of the greatest sequels in cinematic history. The film has been praised as Whale’s masterpiece.
In 1998, it was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry, having been deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant".
