Bizarre Comedy 'We Are Little Zombies' Brings Neon Insanity to Cinemas in 2020 [Trailer]

We Are Little Zombies Trailer

While it may not be a horror film, writer/director Makoto Nagahisa's bizarre comedy We Are Little Zombies might just be the pop neon insanity you need right now.

Following the film's premiere at last year's Sundance Film Festival, the official trailer has now made its way online. Give it a spin below!

The film follows four young orphans - Hikari, Ikuko, Ishi, and Takemura - who first meet when their parents’ bodies are being turned into dust, like fine Parmesan atop a plate of spaghetti Bolognese, and yet none of them can shed a tear. They are like zombies; devoid of all emotion.

"With no family, no future, no dreams, and no way to move forward, the young teens decide that the first level of this new existence involves salvaging a gaming console, an old electric bass, and a charred wok from their former homes - just enough to start a band - and then conquer the world."

Keita Ninomiya, Mondo Okumura, Satoshi Mizuno and Sena Nakajima star in the film.

We Are Little Zombies arrives in cinemas... sometime in 2020!
