'Willy's Wonderland' Is Getting A Limited VHS Release via Broke Horror Fan and Witter Entertainment

Willy’s Wonderland, the horror-comedy starring Nicolas bah-gawd Cage as a nameless, silent janitor waylaid in the middle of nowhere, hit VOD and Blu-Ray earlier this week, after its initial Early Access release some two months ago. The stand-in for the long-rumored Five Nights at Freddy’s film has gotten solid reviews thus far, as it sits at a 65% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. For those looking to get even more old-school than a knockoff Chuck E. Cheese, as both this film and its inspiration portray, Broke Horror Fan and Witter Entertainment have you covered.

Starting this coming Tuesday, April 13th at 12pm EST, Witter Entertainment will be selling a limited number of fully-functional VHS copies of Willy’s Wonderland. In total, there will be 175 copies sold, with the artwork breakdown going as follows:

  • standard edition with the theatrical artwork (75 stocked)

  • variant with art featuring Nicolas Cage (limited to 50)

  • big box edition with the theatrical artwork (limited to 50)

All copies will have a letter from director Kevin Lewis, as well as the following special features:

  • Willy’s Wonderland: Inside the Fun featurette

  • Colorful Darkness and The Demon-Atrons featurette

  • Set Tour with actor Christian DelGrosso

  • And more!

These VHS tapes are anticipated to ship around mid-May.

For those still not aware of this film, check out the synopsis and trailer for Willy’s Wonderland below:

A quiet loner (Nicolas Cage) finds himself stranded in a remote town when his car breaks down. Unable to pay for the repairs he needs, he agrees to spend the night cleaning Willy’s Wonderland, an abandoned family fun center. But this wonderland has a dark secret that the “The Janitor” is about to discover. He soon finds himself trapped inside Willy’s and locked in an epic battle with the possessed animatronic mascots that roam the halls. To survive, he must fight his way through each of them.

Finally, the fine folks at Witter Entertainment had notes about the Psycho Goreman VHS release earlier this year which they’d like passed along:

We cannot thank everyone enough for the incredible demand for PG: Psycho Goreman on VHS! We're also very sorry for long time customers, fans, and collectors that missed out. We are discussing a restock of at least the standard edition sometime in the future, but definitely for this year. On the first audit, we did not notice orders that appeared nefarious in nature; however, we will be triple checking as we ship out and will alert our audiences to any restocks due to cancelled orders from the first drop. We do not like scalpers, either.

For those lucky enough to score one, we anticipate tracking numbers to go out by the end of this week, with all orders shipped out by April 15th barring any unforeseen circumstances.

To ensure a better chance at popular items we suggest creating an account on the site at the 'My Account' tab, and if you're a PayPal user, signing into PayPal and your Witter Entertainment account at the same time, 5-10 minutes prior to launch, so you're all ready to go when the gates open. This is exactly what we do when we're trying to get high demand items online in other shops. Unfortunately, times of heightened traffic cannot guarantee a final sale even if the item is in your cart, as noted on our product description pages.
